From 2022 and until 2024, I was the President of the British Postgraduate Philosophy Association (BPPA). The BPPA is the association that represents and works for the community of postgraduate Philosophy students across the UK. Some of the landmarks of the committees I have presided are:
- The organisation of the BPPA Annual Conference outside the UK (Dublin) for the first time in the association’s history.
- The introduction of regional conferences: local events that foster collaboration among philosophers based in the different regions of the UK.
- The first-ever implementation of a membership program for the association.
I am one of the co-founders of the PoSeT Group, an informal group dedicated to the dissemination and promotion of the philosophy of set theory, especially among graduate students and newcomers in the field. We organize event and readings groups, and you can learn more about it here: https://www.posetg.org/.
IoP’s Advisory role
Since 2022, I am also an appointed member of the Advisory Council to the Institute of Philosophy, SAS, a nationwide institution aiming to promote philosophical research. You can learn more about the Institute here: https://philosophy.sas.ac.uk/.
